Digital dictation – Big Hand

Big Hand Digital Dictation – Workflow software enables professionals to get more done at work using their voice. With over 142,000 users and 1,300 customer organisations, BigHand is a global leader in developing and delivering dictation and speech technologies.

Speak and record, then send to the Speech Recognition workflow to have your work automatically transcribed. With two workflow options, Speech Recognition only, and Speech Recognition with proofing, Big Hand Digital Dictation gives authors the option to send to themselves or their assistants. When Speech Recognition gets part of a transcription wrong, the user can make corrections and click the BigHand correct button. This action sends the corrected text back to the server, which then “learns” and refines the user’s speaker profile, thus increasing future accuracy.
